Our Mission

The Starchevski School of Ballet was founded in 1992 with the goal of helping young dancers achieve their full potential in classical ballet.

Quality Breeds Growth
Since its inception. The Starchevski School School of Ballet has grown considerably, earning the reputation for excellence in instruction. Dance programs offered are creative and current, including classes in ballet at all levels, from pre-school through general division and teen/adult ballet. Classes are also offered in jazz, tap, hip-hop, modern, national dance and lyrical. The School is located on the second floor of a new building with a viewing gallery, a large change room, lots of natural light and professional dance floors.

The Finest Instruction
The Academy founders, Kristof and Hanna Starczewski have both performed internationally as Principal and Soloist dancers while members of respected dance companies. After learning the Vaganova teaching method in National Ballet in Poland and in the University of Frederic Chopin in Warsaw they began to begin the process of passing on their knowledge to young and hopeful ballerinas. The Starczewskis have a deep love and appreciation for the discipline, resulting in quality instruction rarely found outside of Europe. Their extensive international performing and teaching backgrounds have led to many of their students being accepting into professional companies.

Tutus and Toe Shoes
Dancers at Starchevski’s School of Ballet will learn that it will take time and discipline, but it is possible to become a professional dancer and performer. Dedication is the key, and then all the world can literally be your stage.
